During my stay for a busy event in town, I really appreciated how close this place was to the Biodiversity Institute & Natural History Museum and other attractions like Massachusetts Street. The King Room I booked was surprisingly clean and comfortable, giving me a nice place to unwind after a long day of activities. Overall, it was a decent place for a short stay while enjoying everything Lawrence has to offer.

The breakfast options were acceptable, so that’s something. Parking was convenient.

A serious annoyance was the lack of housekeeping. After a stay of 6 nights, not once did they clean the room, leaving us to manage our own trash. The rooms had an unpleasant odor, with reports of dirtiness and insects. Additionally, I encountered a room that was purportedly available but had never been cleaned before my arrival, which was starkly disappointing.

The A/C didn't work, but the room was clean and comfy enough for a night.

If you're hunting for culinary gems, you've got to check out Red Pepper Chinese Restaurant just 0.1 km away. Their toasted sandwiches were an unexpected delight. Also, despite everything, I did have a comfy night's sleep.

A little hiccup though—arrived to find the hotel boarded up. Pretty shocking, especially when I received confirmations about my stay. In the end, I had to crash in my car, but at least I can say I had the adventure of a lifetime!

The swimming pool was a refreshing retreat after a long day on the road, perfect for unwinding. I loved the leisure room-great for catching up on my favorite shows. The staff really stood out during my stay.

i was almost ready to leave a fabulous review until I was hit with a sneezing fit from the absolute disgusting smell in my room, not to mention the bed that had the lingering scent of body odor, which I didn’t expect at all! also, they really should've given me an upgrade for all my troubles but I guess that wasn’t happening, huh?

We stayed here as a family of six and ventured out to catch the KU Jayhawks basketball game. The location was super convenient for us, and the kids loved the quick walk to the venue. Our room was ample for our large group.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options were limited and not kid-friendly.

i had a wonderful experience at super 8 while attending a wedding celebration. everything exceeded my expectations, from the clean linens to the accommodating staff. it truly was a relaxing stay after all the festivities.

It was just a smart choice for a couple of nights in Lawrence with best value. The coffee in the morning was acceptable. Make sure to ask about any renovations during your stay.

The room had dirty handprints on the walls, and the lack of cleanliness was evident with body fluids found on the box springs. After struggling with the air conditioning and television, I learned there was no management on site to address these issues. Waiting for a manager to respond was fruitless, leading to a very disappointing experience overall. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful during check-in, and the authentic Indian dishes nearby offered a nice culinary option.
